Welcome to The Community Explorers

We make it easier for families to enjoy the incredible library and community programs already happening around us.

Each 2-hour drop-off session brings together 6 little Explorers and 2 caring Enrichment Leads for a fun, easygoing playdate filled with curiosity, laughter, and meaningful moments.

We meet at trusted community spaces like libraries, museums, and the Botanical Center, creating simple ways for kids to connect, explore, and grow — while parents get a little time for themselves.

What do The Community Explorers do?

We explore libraries, community spaces, and local events designed for children to learn through play.

Our Enrichment Leads bring joy and structure to every session through activities like music, art, building, and reading. From train tables to puzzles, each moment encourages creativity and connection while ensuring your child’s safety and engagement.

Let your little ones enjoy a playdate full of discovery with The Community Explorers!

Meet our team

At Community Explorers, our team is made up of passionate enrichment leaders with deep roots in early childhood care and community engagement. Our staff includes long-term nannies, preschool educators, and youth program coordinators who share one goal — creating joyful, meaningful learning experiences in safe, welcoming environments.

Every team member completes a thorough background check, first aid and CPR certification, and hands-on orientation before leading a session. Beyond qualifications, each staff member is chosen for their warmth, creativity, and ability to foster connection and independence in children.

Our approach emphasizes guided play and community connection. We carefully review each week’s local calendar to identify enriching community spaces and events — from story times and park days to library workshops and nature walks. Our leaders coordinate activities that align with those environments, ensuring every child enjoys a balance of play, exploration, and social development.

When families arrive, our team greets them at the scheduled location, reviews safety check-ins, and creates a calm, welcoming transition for drop-off or parent-stay participation. Throughout each two-hour session, our leaders balance structured group play with spontaneous learning moments, keeping the experience enriching, fun, and relaxed
